Connecting your store account is optional but recommended. AppReviewBot will keep fetching your public reviews either way — connecting lets us use the official store APIs instead, which unlocks better data and faster delivery.

Benefits of connecting your store account

By linking your Google Play Console or App Store Connect account with AppReviewBot, you can:

1. Access app version details for every review — see exactly which build a user reviewed, so you can correlate feedback with releases.
2. Get review alerts faster than others — connected accounts pull reviews directly from the official store APIs, so new reviews reach your destinations sooner.
3. Respond to reviews directly through AppReviewBot — reply from Slack, Webex, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or the dashboard without opening the store console. See Reply from Destination for details.

What still works without connecting

If you don't connect a store account, AppReviewBot continues to fetch publicly visible reviews and deliver them to your destinations. You won't get version details, the fastest delivery tier, or in-app reply support — but core monitoring keeps working.
